Corporate Timeline

Before 2000 – the Company operated in the format of an IT Department of RosBusinessConsulting.

2000 – the establishment of a separate company RBC SOFT.

The Company gained leading position on the IT market. Its product range included both corporate IT systems and custom development of complex IT solutions. The main emphasis was laid on the quality of services. The Company was among Russia’s first IT companies to receive an ISO 9001:2000 certificate.

In 2003-2005, the Company was actively expanding its market share. Its clientele grew up to 500 corporate clients. The Company won several World Bank tenders and implemented a joint Russian-US project establishing a legislative base and an IT system for the Russian Finance Ministry, as well as built an all-Russian vehicle registration network for the Russian Customs Service along with a number of other major projects. The Company’s product range was increased to over 20 items. It became a leading player on the market of custom IT solutions for governmental institutions. Being part of RBC, the Company was named 43 rd among the 500 fastest-growing high-tech companies on the Deloitte & Touche Tohmatsu 2003 European Technology Fast 500 rating list, as well as 15 th among Russia’s 45 most transparent companies in 2003, according to a transparency and disclosure survey conducted by Standard & Poor's.

In 2006, the Company made a strategic acquisition of two IT and hardware companies, i.e. Helios Computer and ASKO-TBS Consulting, which substantially boosted its range of services and doubled the market share. The Company’s combined product range covers all IT market segments, such as IT services, software and hardware development. The total staff reached 450 people. Earlier success in asset integration helped the Company move further to the next business development stage.

2007 – the consolidation of RBC’s IT assets into OAO ARMADA, a 100% subsidiary of OAO RBC Information Systems.
