This is an unique solution on Russian market which is implemented for the largest libraries of
country. System stores digitalized copies of documents, allows to perform searching by the
requisites of documents and morphological search by complete text highlighting words from
research enquiry. Besides there is the possibility of organizing of the work of virtual reading
halls. Armada owns turn-key product and methodology of its implementation.
Examples of projects:
- Russian Public Library: Creation of Local Electronic Library (LEB). The project unites more
than 264 000 dissertation theses. The cumulative volume of the storage of this project
composes about 2,5 Tb. LEB is accommodated with the powerful system of search. It
allows user quickly fnd necessary document, even if it owns fragmentary information on
its title, contents and other items. After the end of development of LEB Armada embarked
upon the development of National Electronic Library (NEB) which is a central node of
access to electronic documents incorporated in LEBs.
- Parliamentary Library of State Duma of Russian Federation: Development of
Parliamentary Electronic Library (PEB) for Apparatus of State Duma of Russian Federation.
This project has diferent architecture comparing with Lenin’s State Library but performs
similar tasks, and besides it, aside from traditional documents for libraries, PEB is has
facilities to store and visualize acoustic fles, images, video content, digest presses and
other formats of information storage suitable for an user.
